This is the best coach Duke has had since Spurrier. I don't quite remember how well he did without Eli at Ole Miss, but with Eli he won a lot of games. He even won Ole Miss' only SEC west title

All joking aside, he is a pretty good coach, why doesn't his name pop up as someone who could take on a bigger job like Miami or Virginia Tech.

Not a huge endorsement there.

He did very well there despite what some revisionist Ole Miss fans will say.

Yes. He is old and likes where he is now.

This should be his last stop. There's no pressure, he can just concentrate on developing players and winning games.

If I remember correctly, he has a heart condition and doesn't want the pressure of a big time program.

This is why. He wasn't on the short list for anyone for that reason.

Duke was perfect for him. Mike kerzejdjjskskfski provides a huge expectation shelter for him and he benefits greatly from it.
Even his health benefits from it too.

Allow me to dream for a moment. David Cutcliff replaces Miles and Payton Manning decides he wants give something back to his old coach, so he decides to become his offensive coordinator. Cutcliff decides he'll only be at LSU for 2 years, so Manning is named coach in waiting.

I know it's a pipe dream. There's probably only about an 87% chance this could happen.

Math. I'm not good at it.
