Went over to the SEC Rant to see the rankings reactions but I see A TON of Butch Jones threads apparently ditching his team after the Vandy game. What's going on there? This has to be it for him right?

He did improve every season. However, he was underperformed with the talent. Injuries did hurt them this season though

You don't just fire a champion of life. You think those gems grow on trees?

I doubt it. They probably would rather he leave on his own terms so they do not have to pay so much buyout money.

What I've been hearing is the new UTk AD will hold on to him so he can burn the ship next year, then fire him and start over. Honestly, he should've been gone by now, but a mid-tier team like Tenn doesn't have many options.

He coaches in the minor division of the SEC. So probably not.

Losing against Vandy puts you on the fast road to unemployment at Tennessee. I would be torn if I was a Tennessee fan though because I wouldn't want to be on this endless loop of new coaches after every 3 years or so.

Miles would be an upgrade. He would def be able to recruit there. He also wouldn't lose to vandy.
