It's this. Desperate O supporters that know he will fail in short order if Ensminger is the OC next year.

I hope he is. It's the only hire that'd keep my full interest for next season, even if it was only going to be a couple of seasons. Might be a perfect job considering his public perception nationally. I think it's obvious he was used as a scapegoat for the Baylor issues.

I am not an "O supporter." I AM AN LSU ALUM AND LIFELONG FAN! I want the team to succeed. I have said, I would've thrown money at Fisher and Herman. That said, Orgeron has a good chance to be successful, and I want him to be successful, BECAUSE I WANT LSU TO BE SUCCESSFUL.
Yes, I think if Orgeron makes Ensminger permanent, that's a bad move -- for LSU. I believe Orgeron will do what he has said, and hire outside the program for an OC.

Briles is radioactive & I'd find it surprising if any P5 school chose to associate themselves with him. He's a great offensive mind but some things trump football...

Well they did only lose 2 and pretty much dominated UF but turnovers killed them which isn't on the coaches in that scenario. So faaaaak off
