I don't watch basketball much, but I just wanted to chime to tell you that Alleva will frick up your hopes and dreams. Please carry on and remember that the coach you wish for and hope for will NOT happen.

LSU woud need to have a lot of guys turn us down for me to accept Stans. Stans would at least be an upgrade of Johnny. The problem is that he'd just be a hilariously stale hire.

I want alleva gone, but I don't think it's a remote possibility unless O fails

Mrs. Jones/Mrs. Jones , no way your Son/Husband is getting another year. He's done. If fact, he may get the Miles treatment if it gets a lot worse in the SEC this season. (As expected)

LSU basketball currently has its version of O in JJ. It's his dream job, he's from La, etc.

And I would gladly take Kermit Davis over Sransbury.

have not heard anything close to this. Fwiw. If anything his contract is an issue with basketball not making money and it running through 2018. He has through the end of 2018. The key will be if his agent tries to get an extension and Alleva doesn't budge later this year. If we don't turn it around he will get shitcanned next year.

If BB isn't making money, it's because of the poor product he's put on the court. He had a golden opportunity last year and he wasted it. Attendance was up, excitement was up, and....we fell flat on our face.

So much so that we hired our defensive line coach to lead the football team!

We have had ENOUGH!

Football and basketball are the two money makers on college athletics. Completely agree that if the program isn't making money that's on jones and alleva.

I like Kermit Davis....sounds like he has done well and I know he has coached at LSU as an assistant.

Rick Stansbury has as many NCAA tourney berths in his 14 years at MSU as JJ and Kermit have in their 35 years combined as a head coach.

I would be fine with either of the two over JJ, but I think those two should be a last resort. and when I say last resort, I don't mean to pretend to search for a legit coach and then settle for one of them.
