The only leaks I think that did serious damage were Rabalais and the grid iron club frick head. Those 2 really helped Les win the PR battle.
The Tiger Rag editor is a fricking idiot for running that story. You ran with a story using 3rd hand info from a meeting people aren't supposed to speak about. You set yourself up to look like an idiot when the inevitable denials started up

If it wasn't Rabalais, it would have been Guilbeau, or Rosetta, etc. Somebody in the LSU AD office leaked it, and probably was the biggest torpedo of all. 10 days for the Les Miles ground swell to push back. Kirk Herbstreit finally got his chance to make up to Les Miles for his "Miles to Michigan" in 2007. Herbie and ESPN rode the Miles train and F King Jackhole acted like the politician that he is and caved to the SJW movement.
