If he produces 3 consecutive winning seasons for ULM, he'll be gone to a top 25 school. This is his big chance. And a shot at big bucks.

I give him exactly 0% chance at having a winning season at ULM his entire time there

I actually think he'll have a decent chance at having one next year. The roster was pretty well stocked this year for us to have a good chance at making a run but injuries derailed it. I think if we stay healthy and bring in a few decent pieces we can be competitive in the sunbelt next year.

I'm not sure how hot he would be after 3 successful seasons in the sun belt. Not many big time schools came calling for Hud at ULL after his successful seasons and winning the conference. I guess it depends on how he wins and what type of scheme he runs.

Considering it is harder to win at ULM than ULL, you have to figure he'd start getting some looks if he starts having the type of success that ULL has had recently. It would be unprecedented for ULM at the FBS level. But I'll believe when I see it.

As he should be.

ULM is one of the toughest jobs in the country. It is extremely difficult to win there.

I'm guessing that part of the hiring of the new head coach would be a promise the recruiting budget would increase.

Yeah, but it better be big. A 10% increase means your recruiting budget is now 40K!
