...Miles for not doing well enough with the talent he has had, what about Pete Caroll?
Caroll can use blue-chippers to wipe his arse but he always manages to lose to some mediocre Pac-10 team, sometimes even a shitty one. The caliber of his players is surpassed by none; yet he only has 1 BCS championship.

Coach Miles has conducted himself with dignity, integrity and respect. It's just a bonus he's a GREAT football coach. Whatever decision he makes in regards to hiring a DC or for that matter most anything is OK with me.

You think USC plays poorly sometimes because they have so many five star recruits who think they are hot shite and should be the star of the team and it is just that they have trouble playing as a unit. A lot of times it seems they are getting outplayed, but win on talent alone.

Every elite team in football, USC, florida, OSU, Michigan, LSU, Texas, Oklahoma, thinks they have the most talent, worse coach and if they could only get the last guy to beat them take over their team they would national champs for decades.
