This board is insane. Cooper could not and would not recruit. He left our backfield in shambles. There is a reason he's out of job and was at florida atlantic.
I find it amazing people on this board call Ogeron dumb, make jokes about a binder, yet want freaking Ron Cooper as db coach when he can't recruit a lick. The Irony. Just look at our db's after 2012. It was a mess. we had to start two true freshman that Raymond recruited in white and robinson thanks to coop.

basically lied to Miles and said he was out recruiting when he wasn't.

There is virtually NO CHANCE that Raymond leaves LSU and gets a DC gig at a P5 school. He would need to take a step down and be a DC at a lower level and prove himself.

yeah nothing against Raymond, but a job like UF DC is a major, major position

FWIW, Shealord Dixon has said there is no truth to Raymond looking to go anywhere, but rather this is negative recruiting being used by opposing schools. Schools just floating stuff out there to sway recruits. This stuff happens every year as signing day draws nearer
