such a classy response. Do you not think it a bit ridiculous to think that one of the top OCs in the country would decline to leave a place where is his paid 7 figures and is winning championships to start over at another place in the same role instead of taking a HC job? The premise of the original post was moronic and I responded to it - without calling the guy a moron or making some other inflammatory remark like you did. I was able to do that as a functional adult. You may get there one day, bud.

Bama fans are so scared. They're about to watch saban fizzle out like the bear

Nah. Not really. Keep thinking that tho. There are zero signs of Saban "fizzling out". He's already got the replacement OC on staff (just like before Nuss left).

We just find it amusing to watch LSU fans go through the same cycle of self-hype and disappointment.

All this talk about retaining O.But would he want to come here? Maybe Notre Dame or USC or Texas would want to hire him?

NO THEY WOULDN'T!!!!

Can we please combine all of the Coach O O threads into one entitled "Low Expectations to LSU" or "Inferiority Complex"

First BeBe literally will have to go 7-1 or better in the next 8 games to get the job imo. 6-2 depending on to whom and how the losses came about might get him the job, but doubtful.

But let's say he does get it. I definitely believe he will go after Kiffin. I wrote a post earlier and I firmly believe BeBe would go after Kiffin and I kinda feel Kiffin would accept it. He can use the "helping my good friend and buddy out" as an excuse as to why he left which everyone could understand. But I feel the real reason he would be leaving is he would like nothing better than to beat the dog-shite out of the midget at Alabama!!! Everyone at that level is a prideful person so you know Kiffin is, and Saban on national TV and after the game with the national media literally stripped every last bit of pride from Kiffin and Kiffin couldn't say a word. No just like Kiffin flipped off USC when they kicked the dog-shite out of them with the instagram post of his son holding the game ball, so you know he holds a grudge, I have to believe Kiffin would love to do the same thing to lil Saban.

Other than the arse chewing he got the other day for calling that bs reverse with 3 minutes left, when have you seen the nonstop arse chewings? Link?

If he's that sensitive about a one time public Saban rant in which he was justified, then maybe he's a little too thin skinned... but back to the original point. if he's getting it every other game I haven't seen it and I'm at every game, literally 50 feet behind the behind the Bama bench so please enlighten me.

Listen to the entire rant that Saban had after that game, not just the part where he said it was an arse-chewing. If you listen to it he literally kicks the dog-shite out of Kiffin the entire presser blaming the offense for a shitty game the whole presser when you won the game 38-10. There was all the talk that Saban was trying to fire up his team for Ole Piss, I don't think so at all. That was a purposely public evisceration of Kiffin for reasons we can only speculate about, but i don't think that was a heat of the moment thing because of the rant Saban when on at the presser. Heat of the moment thing I get it on the sidelines, well kind of you are up 38-10 so did you really need to go all bat-shite crazy on him like that? Probably not but Saban is Saban. But to go into the presser and eviscerate Kiffin like he did, it just reeks of something underlying between the two.

Look Kiffin has been great for Bama no doubt and I am sure you want that party to continue as long as possible. But I am sure even you felt when they hired Kiffin that the shelf-life on that combination had a short term expiration date. The are both two very, very strong personalities and with Saban there can only be one boss and everyone else is the bitch! I don't see Kiffin staying the bitch much longer, and in fact I firmly believe the hire of Sark means this is Kiffin's last year at Bama. I could be totally off there but that is what I believe the hiring of Sark was all about!

My personal feeling is Kiffin is waiting for a GOOD job, he thinks that highly of himself. I do believe like you that he wants to be a HC for his next job and maybe he will find one that he likes and take it, because like you said later in the post Saban has already hired the next OC in Sark and I think that it was done knowing that Kiffin is probably gone this year or definitely next year.

But let's take a look at a hypothetical, and it is extremely hypothetical because I don't believe BeBe will get the LSU job he will have to go 7-1 or better and that is going to be extremely difficult to do with our schedule left. But let's just say it happens, I think BeBe would approach Kiffin and I think Kiffin would seriously think about it. Look that berating on the field and then evisceration of Kiffin in the media has deeper roots than I think everyone outside of the inner circle knows. I can see him losing his cool, well kind of you were winning 38-10, on the sidelines during the game. But to clearly and totally eviscerate and emasculate Kiffin at the press conference after the game to the national media and the entire public. Me I just think that was more than just Saban losing his cool he literally lit Kiffin up almost the entire 7mins he spoke go and listen to it again. I think that was a clear message to Kiffin which was; you are my bitch lil boy and don't you ever forget it. And if it was done in private Kiffin could swallow his pride but on national TV, I have to believe Kiffin will want revenge somehow, someway and helping his good friend and buddy out beating Saban there would be no greater way because he knows he would have a shot at him every year. Also if that were to happen and lets say he is at LSU for 3 years and he does for LSU what he did at Bama and let's say for shits and giggles LSU beats Bama 2 of those 3 years. Teams would be lining up to hire Kiffin again!!!

But that is all hypothetical and I personally don't feel BeBe has a great shot at being HC because I don't think we can go 7-1 or better going forward.

Yes, he wants to kick little Saban, the man who when he was his lowest, with the media just piling on him, reached out to him and hired him.

I am not saying that Kiffin isn't grateful for what Saban did for him, which there is no denying it helped save his coaching career. But the past is the past and that is now in the past. Kiffin as proved his merit and he is going to get another shot at a HC gig sometime in the very near future. But to think that total evisceration and emasculation of Kiffin's manhood on National TV, if you think that is not in the back of Kiffin's mind and burning in his head. Then you are saying that Kiffin has no pride and doesn't think highly of his talents which everyone knows that just isn't the case.

That beat down by Bama on USC was a lot of vindication for Kiffin and you know he was the wizard behind the curtain on the destruction. Took him 3 years to give the payback from the embarrassing and public way he was fired from USC but he got it. And that instagram post with his lil boy holding the game ball is proof of that. Yeah that was Kiffin saying to USC "I am the 900lbs gorilla" and I truly believe he will want to do that to Saban after what Saban did to him on National TV!!! It is one thing to do it in private, and totally another in public for the entire country to see. Nope what Saban did probably washed away the feeling of Kiffin owing Saban anything especially since you know Kiffin thinks he is an offensive genius and deserves all the accolades he gets!

This also assumes that Saban didn't say or do anything in the office after cooling down to make it right, too.

Did Saban go a bit too far? Yeah, probably. I just don't think he's so small (inb4 his stature is small) that he wouldn't make it right.

Why in the hell would Kiffin leave Alabama and Coach Saban to go to the same position and let CEO be his boss.
