If O is retained...we all know he is going after Kiffin...

Question is...would he leave Alabama? O is most definitely his boy and maybe he is sick of the arse chewings he gets every other game from Saban. Could be a deadly combo...

ps... of course I would rather Fisher/Herman first.

You think he's tired of winning championships yet?

Kiffin's job in 2017 will be HC somewhere or OC at Bama. I don't see him leaving for any school - regardless of if "his boy" is coaching there or not - to be an OC.

Kiffin needs a Saban to keep his douchebaggery at least behind the scenes.

He and O would just go apeshit if left to their own devices.

Other than the arse chewing he got the other day for calling that bs reverse with 3 minutes left, when have you seen the nonstop arse chewings? Link?

If he's that sensitive about a one time public Saban rant in which he was justified, then maybe he's a little too thin skinned... but back to the original point. if he's getting it every other game I haven't seen it and I'm at every game, literally 50 feet behind the behind the Bama bench so please enlighten me.

Okay, its called exaggeration But, ive seen it atleast 4 or 5 times over the last few years. And Lane looks PISSED everytime. I'm telling you...if O gets it, Bama fans should be worried. The guy likes to be on the move. And, If he can come here and turn around our shitty O quickly...it will only make him look more attractive as a coach.

Why would Kiffin want to go work for his former subordinate who was given his job after he was fired? The madness.

Sorry, but this is stupid. Kiffin will be head coach somewhere. He's not going to leave Alabama as OC to be OC somewhere else.

ummmm they have only worked together 3 different times already. And, who is to say Kiffin is the better head coach...O obviously did much better than him as the interim at SC

Worried about what? Everyone just knew when Saban hired Kiffin it would be a disaster. Three years later, here we are. I'd imagine Saban will just hire another great OC.

Kiffin is likely headed for a HC job next.

Can we ban all retaining O as HC posts?

This is serious.

I'll second this motion. We need to shut this down ASAP before it comes to fruition.

He wants a head coaching salary and doesn't feel like getting yelled at by a midget a-hole

Kiffin would have no problem leaving Saban, but Kiffin probably has higher aspirations than a lateral move.

That is a reason not to retain him. Last thing we need is these two screwing up the LSU program.

I cant see Kiffin making that move. He'll get a HC job after this season.

And Im thinking Houston would be a nice landing spot after we sign Herman.

he is going to be a HC at a different school next year, i think 2 years was the original plan but really don't see kiffin on the sidelines next year
