If Miles does end up going to Michigan I hope LSU contacts the following 10 coaches about the job.

Bob Stoops
Jon Gruden
Bill Cowher
Chip Kelly
Gary Patterson
Mike Leach
Chris Peterson
Kevin Sumlin
Mike Riley
Gus Malzahn

Out of that list Leach, Sumlin, Malzahn, and maybe Riley are your only legit candidates.

If this thread is a joke then I'm sorry.

Jimbo would be a pretty good option. man can recruit, especially qb's, he's been here and know's the in's and out's of lsu. he could keep chavis as d.c. this would be a great fit in my opinion.

Where LSU is (right now) as a program I really feel we could get a big time coach here that would be a shock to people. I'm of course not saying it will happen but it wouldn't surprise me if we got a big name out of left field like a Stoops, Cowher type guys because of what the LSU job has to offer over most any other job in the country. I'm not convinced like many out there that Gary Patterson is rock solid at TCU. He may very well be but a job like LSU coming open would be hard to pass up compared to where he is right now. Just my 2 cents. For the record I'm not a Pelini fan as next Head Coach here.

No I'm not in for a disappointment. I said that it was my "WISH LIST" not what I thought would happen or what I'm saying will happen. Hey you don't know anything till you call somebody. You'd be amazed at what someone might say if you just drop them a line especially with a job like LSU.

Butch Davis could be a wild card but I doubt it. I would be shocked if Jimbo left FSU after just one season as head coach. Besides FSU is a great job to have.

Florida is one of the best jobs in America like the LSU job is. Had Florida not hired Muschamp then his name would have been high on my original list.

I wouldn't be disappointed at all. He's a great coach and every year in college that he has coached his offense's have been one of the best in college football everyone of those years. He is the offensive version & young coach on the rise to what Muschamp is. LSU could do A LOT worse than Malzahn. The guy is a proven coach, he flat out produces everywhere he's ever coached in his life, that's enough proof for me.
