I like shaw and sumlin. Still would want to see where they are at in 5 years. Prob with sumlin would be i cant see that offense working with mett.

Sumlin does a great job of adjusting his system to fit personnel. I live In Houston and watched him with Keenum where than ran a true air raid with no read option. Then when Keenum got hurt they ran more read option with a mobile QB. So I feel like he could adjust to fit mett's skillset

Sarkisian may be unemployed at the end of next year. He's putting himself in a Jeff Tedford situation -- coaching a team that's moving into an expensive stadium renovation. God forbid the Huskies end up 5-7.

You gotta get players first. Saban would have a field day recruiting LA with Richt as our coach

Saban would have a field day with any coach other than Les at LSU, shite it's tough for Les to keep kids away from Bama.

There is no coach LSU could hire that would completely keep Saban out of La

I really like him and he finally got some recruiters at UW. I think if they fire him they'll regress back to 1-10 type seasons

Alright, but atleast agree that you think a new HC should be able to hire or keep whoever he wants.

Agreed.

How about Jim Mora? (no, the other one)

Did a nice job of turning arounf UCLA in one year. And he has plenty of NFL experience to bring to the table.

he'd be a great coach at LSU and i would love to have him if miles left. but i don't think he'd be able to put up with the political bull shite in louisiana or the lsu fans.

It certainly takes someone with a thick skin and lots of top level support to make it at LSU, especially if he has to ride through any transition issues.

Shaw would have to be considered a top candidate, maybe also the Franklin guy at Vandy. I think Taggart at Western Kentucky is gonna be a top notch coach but not sure he is ready for LSU.

Malzahn or one of the other offensive minded guys along with Chavis would make for an an interesting staff.
