If Jimbo comes and Aranda leaves - Craig/Raymond promotes?

It would not surprise me if Jimbo promote Craig to OC and Raymond to DC.
Raymond may be a surprise pick but we've heard how Jimbo has coveted him in the pass. Now in his late 40s, Raymond may want to move up in the world.
Additionally Shea D mentioned on another forum that Aranda and Raymond has "grown close". Now I personally hope that helps keep Aranda in BR but if Aranda does leave, I hope Raymond is consistently picking his brain.
Craig to OC seems like a no brainer. Jimbo calls the plays for couple of years before he turns it over to Craig. Craig has been his pupil for years.

If gonna hire a non HC for lsu then hire aranda. At least he has a specialty besides simply emotion and recruiting.

I don't see your logic on the OC part. Jimbo would still call plays. It would be a Payton/Carmichael similar situation. Hell Jimbo has two OCs at FSU yet he still call plays.

Honesty no sure how good of a head coach Aranda would be.
After reading articles and hearing how much of a cerebral guy he is defensively
How he likes to just sit in his office and scheme, doesn't seem to lend itself to head coaching duties.
Either his defensive mind would suffer or his head coaching responsibilities would suffer.
