Yes

Literally every game that a prospective coach is in will be analyzed to death

There is no doubt

Asked about the new opening in Baton Rouge, Shaw was rather definitive in his stance.

“Are you serious? The answer is no,” Shaw said, seemingly without hesitation according to ESPN reporter David Lombardi.

David Shaw = Les Miles 2.0

Shaw gets 2nd tier athletes & does well. He is much more competent then les Miles. Y'all are so fricking clueless.

Well, his manner of saying "no I was not contacted about the LSU job" was a laughing, sort of condescending remark. He was adamant about not being the slightest bit interested in the LSU job by his tone. That's fine. I get not leaving your alma mater, cali coast etc. It was snobby, but that's his prerogative. When Mcaffrey is gone, I can't imagine they will be a threat to any team outside of the Pac10 or 12 or whatever it is.

Didn't Saban say he wasn't gonna be the coach at Alabama? All the talk right now means jack shite. And NO, I do not want Shaw.

Their styles are awfully similar. That's why I've never been big on him being a candidate.

i keep seeing les miles 2.0 mentioned as a negative, but that would still indicate a NC and a couple SEC titles...

He went to two Rose Bowls after Luck left and before McCaffery got there.

Shaw follows a great coach in harbaugh just like miles followed saban. Their records are strikingly similar. Their offensive styles and conservatism is strikingly similar. How is he not miles 2.0?

He's coaching his alma mater, low pressure job and competes every year.

How is Shaw still being talked about? He's not leaving.

After watching the last 3 games, I feel like I could have closed my eyes and been listening to LSU. While his offense is more imaginative than Les/Cam's, the plodding pace of it is scarily familiar. His style is great for the west coast, but SEC plays much faster, even Alabama with its ball control. He needs to stay where he's at.
