AUCE05...you're about 100% wrong aka as wrong as possible.
I think that the person LSU hires will be Grimes and that will show how inaccurate that rumor was.

Head O-Line first 5 years
Got a new head coach this year, I had a great assistant so was moved to head receivers and assistant o-line took my place.
Head guy got fired last night. When they bring in new regime he will clean house.
Part of it, I figured it was coming. Just sucks when it finally hits you.

My first head coach was here 5 years. He was forced out (by new superintendent), was so late in the year they moved OC to head in May.
Since he was connected to old HC they just wanted to use him to get us thru the year. We are in the toughest district in the state. Realignment is in a couple months, when they get in an easier district and hire a new guy he will win. They all look like heroes. We coached the freshman this year and they went 9-1. So they have a good chance to succeed.
When we took over they were 1-29
We went a little over .600. Missed playoffs by one game three years. It was time to go. Part of the ugly, ugly business.

I know I'm naive, but high school coaches are academic teachers as well....this "cleaning house" stuff is ridiculous on the high school level.

Gotcha. Plenty of schools in that area. I'm sure something will come avaiable.
