Rightfully so in my opinion.

How "big" of a program would give him a shot?

Michigan?
Florida?

Maybe somewhere like Arizona if Rich Rod gets a better job.

Let's see how he does next year. Like Mullen, he loses ALOT and he should be the coach to suffer thru it.

He's a good coach, but there's not a chance a top P5 job looks at him. And I doubt a mid-range job would either.

Probably a lower tier job - Big 12 has several that could be open - Kansas stands out. He'd be good for K State too when Snyder retires. Iowa State
AAC job that will pay him $1.5-$2 mill could work - maybe Houston.

Hud makes over 1 mil at ULL. I don't see him leaving for a P5 that will only pay him slightly above they.

Anyone thinks he will stay at ULoL is delusional. ULoL is and always will be the first step in a long journey to a job with a "mid major."

I didn't say that he'd never leave. But he won't leave for a 200K pay raise. It's not like he's getting paid peanuts at ULL.

While the money is good at ULL the ceiling over there is the New Orleans Bowl. I'm sure Hudspeth has higher goals for his coaching career in mind

Kansas should go after him. No idea if he would take it but I think he would fit well there. They need to be able to recruit the south/TX or Big 10 country since Kansas has no in state base and he would be able to do that.
