Depends - if we get Jimbo, I would probably be just as ecstatic.

If we miss out on both, I'm going to be pretty disappointed, as there is a fairly steep drop off to the next tier of coaches.

Anyone who can recruit and craft a cohesive staff that will produce a productive offense and defense will be fine with me.

After all the hype he has gotten not getting him will be about as anti-climatic as it gets.

He's my number 1 choice, but if it ends up being Jimbo I won't be upset about that either.

Living in Houston and hearing Herman do his weekly segment on the radio with Matt Thomas has really made me want him at LSU since last year. He really comes off as a players coach, similar to Miles, but actually knows how to develop an offense and call plays, unlike Miles.

The guy just seems like the real deal and IMO the next best thing in college football.

We had a good run with Les Miles, so it goes to show you that it doesn't take a brand name coach to run this ship...I will be happy with any coach we get.

I'm not stoked on any potential hire. It's a blind leap no matter who gets the job.

Herman looks good right now, but he's only in his second season and his success is in a mid major conference. He could be a great hire, or he could be Curley Hallman 2.0.
