Its cold.

The "big house" is overrated.

Big 10 football is boring.

Its cold.

Throw in the same reasons people didn't want to coach at Bama.

Now that he is off of his Matt Ryan kick does he want to coach at Michigan now?

Same reason nobody wants to coach at BAMA. There are too many chiefs and not enough indians. These people become control freeks wehn they are involved in these bigtime programs and they want to call all the shots. They have almost destroyed Alabama football. Our fans think Saban is going to fix everything overnight and that is just not going to happen. Assuming he stays it will take him another 3 years to turn BAMA around and if the boosters don;t leave him alone he will leave. Michigan is going to have to step up to the plate and pay top dollar or they will end up with an average coach at best. I still think they will make a run at Miles but I might be wrong.

Because the former coach is much more in control than anyone outside of Michigan, or anyone with a brain would believe.

Most see Carr as a failure and would never have thought he'd have the power that he has.

Who would want to deal with that?

to much pressure to beat OSU. Both jobs are based on beating each other, like Auburn and Bama.

They'd be under the gun from day 1 to produce.

Because Michigan thinks they only have to pay 1.5 mil for a job that should be paying 2.5 mil.

Les probably does.

Tim Tebow could coach them to a national title next year.

Scoop,

There's not a doubt in mind that UM will make another run. I also think Les will not entertain the courtship. Saban's antics have forever tainted whatever legacy he might have had and other coaches have taken note of the negative feelings that go along with the slight of hand tactics. Les isn't about to make that mistake, if he's smart.

1. To much interference from the admin.
2. Cheap skates
3. Lloyd Carr with a knife to your back.
4. Unreasonable expectations.
5. Bo watching from his grave.
6. Divine providence on Mich. side.(attitude)

Im sorry, at the University of Michigan we have high expectations, and a tradition to uphold. Maybe in about 40 years you will understand.

I think the longer Michigan goes without a coach, the higher probability they will go after Miles again on Jan. 8.
