The Big 12 board of directors is scheduled to meet Oct. 17 to discuss expansion.

Texas would support Houston as a candidate for expansion into Big 12.

OU would rather torpedo expansion if expansion means adding UH. Makes sense to me.

However, it's cute that OU think it has a say in any of this. The Big XII will do what Daddy Longhorn (Network) tells them to do. Just like they always have.

And every other team in the conference will laugh at them.

They should get Nebraska and Colorado back.

They can have Missouri back too. The Aggies can stay.

I've been hearing that the Horns do not want Houston in the league. Goes back to the old SWC days when Houston was looked at like the trash across the tracks by the rich boys at UT.

I've heard the opposite all along...

Texas schools want Houston....Non-Texas schools, especially OU and OSU, do not want Houston.

Which is opposite of what you woul logically think, but nonetheless makes sense. Which is why Oklahoma is now posturing to blow up any expansion at all if Houston is the take.
