I don't want to sound like I'm trying to hyperbolize, but I don't think I've ever been more impressed with hearing an LSU coach, head or otherwise, speak at his introductory press conference. This guy feels like head coach material most definitely.
shite, I hope we didn't just give birth to a monster that we'll have to coach against someday soon. Hopefully if he's everything we all hope for him to be, he'll get snatched up by the NFL instead of somewhere in the SEC.

He seems like a grand slam hire. Someone asked him about X's and O's and getting the guys acclimated to the new scheme.
He answered by stating that for now, it's not even about the X's and O's - it's about trust. He said it's about getting to know the players, who they are, what they expect from him, and what he expects of them. He said it was about building that foundation to the point where the coaches trust the players to make certain plays, and the players trust the coaches to put them in positions to win.
We'll see how the execution plays out next season, but he's definitely saying the right things.

You can already tell Peetz is going to have the best recruits everywhere lining up to play here.

Oh that guy completely knocked it out of the park. I cannot wait for spring ball to get here any player on offense of side the ball that doesn’t want to come to LSU should have their head examined

Now we need o to find the same type of guy for the defense. I would love to know what happened with arnett, cause that guy can coach.

I feel like new coaches always win the press conference haha.
