Herman has the greatest potential for beating Bama with consistency. his offense is a perfect answer to the way Bama's defense is constructed and he's proven it before in 2014. He's proven himself extensively as an OC and as a HC. Herman's offense would give Bama fits every year. Saban even personally met with Herman to consult with him after 2014 because he had literally no idea how to stop his offense. Let that sink in

Jimbo is the perfect answer LSU's qb problem. He also runs a more open offense and is excellent at halftime adjustments, another thing we haven't seen much of here. Its also very likely that CEO would be willing to remain on staff if Fischer is hired because even he understand that he doesn't have much leverage against a coach with a title under his belt. If you're an O supporter, would you rather have O as HC or Fischer as HC with O remaining on staff? Fisher is the coach with the best resume for selling LSU to elite QB recruits.

Fisher is currently 7-3 with a freshman qb, a dogs hit line, and a defense that shits the bed every other game. He's was a bad call away from beating clemson and has his qb playing well despite getting hit 10+ times a game. What do you think Fischer would of done at LSU if he was HC this season, with this LSU team that is one of the most talented we've ever had.

LSU could not be in a better position right now with with the coaches on the market. LSU can cherry pick a top 5 coach from a fringe top 5 program or hire an offensive guru who has perhaps the greatest upside of any coaching candidate we've seen in a decade, and who has had proven success vs only team standing between LSU and SEC/national championships.

That is just ignorant. Whomever we hire, O Jimbo or Herman, one of them will beat Bama. Considering the guy you claim to be the worst of the three gave them the game of the year this year without being able to make any significant changes to the offense ahead of time. With a year of installing an offense, any of those three will serve LSU great.

Why the frick not? Did he take over for Miles 2 days before the Bama game?

When Herman was OC at OSU they changed their offense 3 times in the NC season to fit the three QB's they went through. O had 2 fricking weeks to game plan for that game and that pile of shite is what they came up with. That's a lame arse excuse and im sick of seeing it used, good coaches make adjustments, they dont need a whole offseason to do so.

Hell, good coaches make offensive adjustments at halftime. Often major ones.

What is this shite about Orgeron "not having time to fix the offense?"

Dave Aranda is responsible for the bama game being that close. You take him off the sideline and we get crushed by 20+.

all that you just said is pure speculation.
Fleck) gives us the best chance to be a dynasty

Orgeron has already done good things with this team in a very short amount of time.

Fisher gives us a updated more modern Les Miles, but not a home run hire. He has been pulling the best classes in the ACC for years now just to lose 3 games and be behind Clemson. Very Miles like. But we could still get to a NC game with him, hell, Miles got us to two.

my speculation is asked up by facts of coaching history and previous successes

Miles's 3 loss seasons are b/c of his Defensive coordinators

Jimbos 3 loss seasons are despite his Defensive coordinators

Who is a homer hire then? according to you a coach who hasn't won a game vs any big school is better than a coach whose won a natty.

In that case we should blame Chavis for losing to Bama the previous two times the went to Tiger Stadium.
