Hermans next gig is about relationships not money

If it's about relationships and having authority and not money, I don't see how that favors UT. There will be a power struggle between the boosters and admin and himself at UT, he has a relationship here with DA and we're prepared to give him "Saban like authority" I think we hear good news after the meeting tomorrow. It's also worth noting he wasn't happy about the leak last night and that was all on Texas.

He HAD relationships at Texas. He does NOT have anymore relationships there. He learned under Greg Davis for ONE season who was the OC under Mack Brown. The AD is gone, the President is gone, the entire Mack Brown staff is gone, the S&C coach is gone.

I don't know what the guy is going to do, but it's been out for years that Texas was his dream school.
Personally, I don't know why anyone would want to coach Texas and deal with all the shite.

No. That was peddled by Texas fans because they constantly talked about firing Charlie Strong and Herman was a hot commodity, and he had been a GA at Texas for a year. He left for Sam Houston State after that gig.
Fact is, Herman spent one whole year in Austin as a GA. That hardly qualifies as a deep connection. Texas fans would love for everyone to think so.
