He's not asking really hard questions. But he's saying a whole lot about wanting to win championships and compete at the highest level, so that sounds better for us. Says he wants to get somewhere and stay there.

I guess his camp probably told DP to not ask questions about him staying or leaving Houston.

Thanks! Figured he wouldn't say much, but was hopin for some freudian slip like Jimbo in his press conference last year.

What? Did you expect him to say, "yeah, Dan, I'm going to Baton Rouge next year."

Sounds to me like he's ready to move. Asked if he could win a championship at Houston and he said "Yeah. This year." As in, likely not in future years.

Also talked about needing the resources to win.

Also said if he didn't make it in coaching he would have moved back to Cali.

Was asked if he ever had a dream job. He said no. Maybe Fresno State.

If we het Herman they will be trying to figure out ways to cancel games for the foreseeable future.

I meant that I was disappointed in the sense that DP was asking him silly questions. Like "Do you think Urban Meyer could take Harbaugh?"

I wasn't disappointed in anything Herman said, he answered questions. I was disappointed in the questions. Which I'm sure Herman's camp said don't ask him about his job and future prospects.

Well, that's it. LSU has no shot at Herman. On to the next one.

Funny how you hear one thing and think it means "only this year" and I hear it and it sounds like he's just trying to emphasis that he can win it all this year.

Guess we'll have to get a speech specialist in here to settle this.
