Herman is still my number 1 choice by a wide margin

today changes NOTHING. its actually good news. hes still only been there for a year and a half, still playing with guys brought in by a coach who got fired.

Houston losing today was the best thing that could happen for the coaching search. Now we should be able to get an answer from Herman in early December and move on to the other candidate if he takes another offer.
If we had had to wait til January and lost out on Herman it would have turned into a real shite show.

If anything I think today proves why UH isn't a realistic place for him to stay. You want to make the playoffs? then you need the athletes to run your system.
Can't get that at UH especially if they're not joining the Big XII (which I doubt they ever will).

totally agree with what you said. looks like all out main canidates will be available early: herman, jimbo, fedora(lost points today),petrino, gundy etcc.. Hope its done by late Dec

Herman isn't Meyer. Herman is having a good run but u guys are ridiculous. He lost a game he flat out shouldn't have. Enough with the crap about other people's players. He should have one and blew it. If LSU lost to navy everyone would freak out. Looks like a double standard with some of you
