Drug tests are different than sexual assault.

no doubt, i dont disagree at all, but the man didnt run a prostitution ring, so lets not act like he did

Briles is a terrible person.

dude, dont act like shite doesnt happen everywhere else, including LSU.. how many drug test did TM& fail before he was booted? 12? and how many times was he suspended? once? twice? I love Les, and he was clean for the Most part, but no one on this planet is a saint.
Dude, young women at Baylor reported being raped and were told to keep their mouth shut or that their parents would be told that they had been drinking and having sex before marriage. That's just scratching the surface.

Are we really so desperate to win a damn football game that we go from Les Miles integrity to this guy?
Well, we could be a program that hires a "nice" guy or we can be the program with an a-hole head coach that beats the shite out of everyone like Louisville is doing right now. You think they give a frick that he cheated on his wife?

dude its not a monastery, its college girls getting fricked up and making bad decisions..part of raising a daughter is to teach her to stay out of those situations.. Situations are different... Some dude kidnapping a girl and raping her is different then some college girl getting drunk, having sex with someone, regretting it and calling it rape the next day... and yes that does happen...
if youre both naked about to have sex and shes says no right before and you still do, youre a piece of shite, and should be punished, but dont act like the girl is all innocent..
Everything has different circumstances, i would just want to know all the information and then make a decision based on the facts and not just hear say or some idiot journalist with a personal agenda.
and just to clarify something that you posted because I know and work with lets just say "Baylor athletics coaches" what he told me what was said to the girls was that they would tell their parents that they "slept with someone who wasn't white"... Same person said the decision went over Briles's head... thats all I know..

like a posted earlier, rape or sexual assault is def worse than "cheating on a spouse" but I tend to think no one is innocent, just pick the one that you think will be the most successful overall and have other depts do their job.. like PR people..

If it was like Petrino who was having fun with a girl on the side I could easily get over. We don't need a perfect person to be the coach. With Briles though trying to cover up rape is way too much to forgive. The way he handled the situation was atrocious and he doesn't deserve to coach again. He truly is a terrible person.

MYTH!! He built them into a Big XII power. He has a HORRIBLE record against ranked teams. He built his record beating up on a bad conference and an absolute joke of an out of conference schedule
Lololol.

Briles never covered up rape, your ignorance is obvious. Ignorant ignorant ignorant.

No they were not. You're literally making shite up. Literally.

I've been saying this. If you actually read the Pepper-Hamilton report, there is merely speculation that Briles knew about the transferring players speculation, and no proof he did anything to cover up any action by any player. He was the scapegoat.
I want Herman, but will take Briles in a heartbeat if Herman says no.

The sexual assault scandal that took down Baylor University's president and revered football coach also found a problem with a bedrock of the school's faith-based education: a student conduct code banning alcohol, drugs and premarital sex that may have driven some victims into silence.
Investigators with the Pepper Hamilton law firm who dug into Baylor's response to sexual assault claims determined the school's rigid approach to drugs, alcohol and sex and "perceived judgmental responses" to victims who reported being raped "created barriers" to reporting assaults. Some women faced the prospect of their family being notified.
"A number of victims were told that if they made a report of rape, their parents would be informed of the details of where they were and what they were doing," said Chad Dunn, a Houston attorney who represents six women who have sued Baylor under the anonymous identification of Jane Doe.

It's disgusting that people are so blinded by greed that they want this guy. The fans will not rally behind him even if he does win and it will be incredibly easy to recruit against him.

Even if Briles is a scapegoat he is still an overrated coach who's record against ranked teams should be a red flag to everyone.

even if this was true which I have no idea, ive stated before i dont trust the press... sounds like they weren't very innocent..
and I highly doubt all the students at Baylor are drug free/ dont drink and dont have pre marital sex... the idea of that is pretty stupid if you ask me..

Miles didn't have on the field, but he would never have done what Briles did. I don't like his video game offense and his moral resume is pathetic.
