First of all, I support the hiring of Jimbo Fisher as head coach; we must have someone who can coach offense and develop quarterbacks. I would hope that Coach O remains as the defensive line coach; I would up his salary for services rendered. I know that many of you disagree with this, but Coach O does not know offense and has really never been a coordinator. I would give Coach Aranda a raise. It would take time to determine if he has the desire or the ability to be a head coach. He seems to be very quiet and more of the career coordinator type.

I don't see how anyone could argue this.

You can't argue it, because it is the truth. If he becomes the head coach, he will be another version of Les and could not contribute the one thing that LSU must have to attract Qb's: solid offensive knowledge.

You could ask him.

He is not head coaching material at this time. He does not seem to have the personality to be an effective recruiter at this time. He is a good defensive coordinator right now; give this wine more time to breathe.
