I am just sick over this deal. I really like O, but he ain't Fisher or Herman. It really feels like we are a second-tier program, and this really put us in our place and drove that fact home with an exclamation point. If you think this hire was the best one anyone could've done, then you are delusional... if O is such a hot commodity, then why didn't Texas go after him? Why isn't Houston? Why isn't any div 2 teams. Cmon man, quit playing in the snowflakes and wake up and smell the roses. We got our tales handed to us on a silver platter. FSU kicked our tales and so did UT. I hope O does well and wins an NC, but it'll be despite the best play for us now and because we stumbled into it, not bc our AD had the vision to pass on two coaches who view LSU as a top tier program. With most of our season to nail a top 3 coach down, we got outplayed by FSU and a Texas that decided to fire it's coach 2 days ago.

And this isn't me crying and being a snowflake. This is me stating facts without delusion and my P&G glasses on.

We are a second tier program. We hired a second tier coach. Sucks to admit it but we're not all in like Bama osu mich. Florida auburn. We've turned into a stepping stone like OM or state.
