Why would Michigan go after Kelly? There is nothing especially appealing about Kelly. He’s a good coach but I don’t see anybody going after him, especially with the Jimbo type buyout.

Kelly to Michigan make more sense than Kelly to LSU (from Notre Dame). He recruited the Midwest for decades. Michigan can pay him whatever they want. It’s a better gig for him.
