No way he takes that job with their QB situation. Seems more like a way leverage better terms from another team.
I doubt Belichick would take it for the same reason. He hasn't had to do an interview in 20+ years. It was probably just a tune-up interview to knock some rust off.

I'm pretty sure the NFL teams are required to report every interview they conduct for a job opening. College coaches can't hide anymore when the interview for the NFL

I guess i remember Saban maybe talking to teams in the offseason but I don’t remember anyone openly interviewing with teams.
