Tennessee has offered the Vols head coaching job to Mike Gundy, a source told CBS this morning.

I think Gundy's a good coach. He needs a good DC. Why aren't you guys happy? Is it more that you really wanted Strong and now feel let down, or do you really not like Gundy at all?

Last night ESPN reported that sources said Strong was going to stay at UL. But that's ESPN so the real story is probably Miles to Michigan.

Just because he's been made an official offer doesn't mean he will take it. Gundy played at Oklahoma State and it's his alma mater. It'll be very difficult to lure him away, especially considering how successful he has been there.

This was all a power play on Gundy's part. He was trying to make our AD look like the idiot that he is and it worked.
Gundy has everything he wants in Stillwater, big contract and first class facilities. Not to mention, a solid team coming back next year.
Why would he want to go rebuild in the SEC and compete againt Bama, LSU, TAMU, SC and Florida?
All he has to do is compete against OU and Texas in the Big12 moving forward.
He wont be gonig anywhere, no matter what you all offer.
Book it.
