Normally I don't care for Guilbeau. Although I prefer Herman, he hit the nail on the head in this article. I also like how he brought up the "but Jimbo has no control over his team" BS. Comparing it to Miles' struggles keeping JJ, Hill, and TM7 in check.

I find it alarming that we have boosters who are pumping O over Herman and Jimbo

People have ripped Guilbeau mainly Bc of his infatuation with Saban. I never knocked his columns. He gets ripped by many in the LSU base because he tells it like he sees it and makes points that LSU fans don't want to read.

He sums up everything about Fisher. Fisher or Herman will be the guy to lead this LSU team.

Guilbeau just never had faith that Coach Miles would get the job done again. Every year we thought we would return to the college football elite, Guilbeau would add, "but Les Miles".

Guilbeau was right.

Totally frightening that it seems to be split 50/50. The O segment will have their way imo if he gets to the sugar bowl.

Terrifying that many people actually think O is a better choice than Jimbo.

Its absolutely mind-blowing.

I think you're right.

I'm not giving up, though. I'll continue to fight the good fight until the announcement is made.

This link should be sent to the BOS and Joe Alleva over and over again. I'll go first.

Hopefully it's a silent majority/vocal minority situation. Thing is.. this isn't an election. The only voices being heard are those with the checkbooks and the season tickets. People who want what's best for this program and for the right hire to be made need to hop in Alleva's inbox and voice their opinions. Otherwise all he's hearing is the local media and the O pumpers.

There's apparently also a lot of boosters and former players wanting Fisher. So hopefully their message continues to be heard.
