Yes yes its going to happen. The best special teams coach in the NFL who could get a job anywhere he wanted in the league is going to take a pay cut and come coach special teams in the NCAA. Believe it its going to happen. This isn't fantasy land.

AU is gonna get screwed.
They'll wait to fire Chiz, and meanwhile Arky and UT will already have the jump on them.
If I was a Auburn fan, I'd hope they get blown out against Bama. The worst thing that could happen is to have yall beat Bama or make it a close game. (Although, LSU would appreciate that victory

He's been taking up for Dooley for a while. That immediately makes me skeptical of anything he says.

I think people just take it that way. I've never seen him promote one or the other. His opinions have been pretty accurate with how things have shaken out.

rucker was just on the 104.5 here in nashville... seemed pretty confident Gruden had been contacting current assistants about the possibilities of coaching with him at UT. He also brought up a good point on Hart not using a search firm... he thinks the AD must have a pretty good idea of who to target/interest because no search is being utilized.
Or it could be Hart has no clue and is gonna do this all on his own... i wouldn't put it past him...

I'm frankly surprised ADs don't do coaching searches themselves. They are essentially paying someone else to do their job. I mean, hiring coaches has to be #1 or #2 on the list of an AD's responsibilities.
(I sort of get it for basketball where some coaches such as Pearl have handlers who feed them into certain positions.)
