The ONLY explanation for the f' up yesterday though is if there is a bigger fish on the line that can't be announced until after the bowl games....You don't not tell 5 star recruits that two unemployed guys are going to be your DC/position coach if thats who its going to be; no secracy is needed. I think this scenerio is the back up option, but for now, Sumlin appears to think we have a big fish that is all but done.....that, or he's just a complete idiot.

There was actually a much different problem... Mattison is under contract and isnt going anywhere. Durkin was waiting to hear from Harbaugh if they were going to Michigan. Which they are ;)
