Seriously, any top high school coach in LA would be better than JJ.

Just get any fundamental teaching coach and we would 've better.

Lsu basketball fans have low self esteem issues why wouldn't he come to LSU?

Money, recruiting, reasonable expectations = winning

He would be a great hire, but he's not coming to LSU. However, I'm sure ISU would love him to come back. In that case let's do a double-switch. Hoiberg to ISU, Prohm to LSU.

Prohm is young (42); had success at both Murray St. and ISU; has significant Louisiana ties (7 years as an assistant at SLU, Centenary and Tulane). He recruits LA now, and his top recruiter is from Mississippi.

Southern guy who graduated from a SEC school (Bama). I think LSU would be a great spot for him and he would be willing to listen if the AD would spend a little money

He will go back to Iowa State

Iowa State fans know that the guy they have now sucks, program is trending the wrong direction, and they would fire him to get Fred back in a heartbeat

Come on man he is terrible

So many SEC teams passed up on him, for a reason. He always had the most talented rosters in the OVC yet only made one NCAA tourney.

It's a bit unfair to judge coaches in one-bid leagues soley on NCAA Tournaments reached. He won his division every year at MSU and lost by less than 5 everytime they were knocked out of the OVC tournament. Literally one bad play in March can end the NCAA tournament chances of coaches in one-bid leagues.

Sure, given the choice between Prohm and someone like Billy Donovan is a no-brainer. However, you have to be realistic as to who would consider the LSU job.

Hoiberg was a ridiculous hire by the Bulls. Paxon and Foreman hired a spineless puppet they could control. Those two need to join Alleva on an island somewhere.
