Wilson hiring another Louisiana guy/secondary coach.

Former Tulane co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach Jason Rollins is headed to Texas-San Antonio to join the staff of former LSU recruiting coordinator and new Roadrunners head coach Frank Wilson, a source told NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune on Wednesday night.

Rollins will be the assistant head coach and secondary coach for UTSA.

Rollins was about the only guy on CJ's Tulane staffs that their fans liked. Frank putting together a good staff.

Maybe...but he really doesn't have to. He can get similar players using less resources without traveling too far from San Antonio.

You've got to be kidding. He can get no such players without traveling.

This was a bad decision by Frank
I know he wanted a head coaching job but S Miss would have been a much better fit
Staying at LSU would not have affected his stock either
It's a shame Miles never elevated him to offen coord to get that on his resume
I can't see many LA players flocking to San Antonio but they would have gone to S Miss for him

Eric Henderson- without a doubt, bookmark this post.

Wilson's best move.

He can't see the future and there's no guarantee USM would even be interested in him.

Miles had a freaking coup at his doorstep, he better not be worried about Frank's resume.

Scelfo wasn't bad at Tulane but he definitely underachieved with some of the talent he had

yeah I don't know how Frank could not foresee Monken quitting his job a week before NSD to take an OC position in the NFL. Incredibly short sighted by Frank.
