I feel like Oregon should go for Fleck over Kiffin. Fleck has proven he can be an HC, while Lane has proven more than once that he can't lead a program. Lane is a coordinator, not an HC. I'd love to see Kiffin at LSU

TIFWIW, but the Notre Dame guy I work with said there is a private jet flying from South Bend to Eugene today.

Looks like he's right...

Fleck, Mullen, and Fedora should be the big choices for Oregon and Baylor.

I can see it now: from 'Row the Boat' to 'Ducks in a Row'

I'd prefer him at a school we can get him from easily in 3 years

Brian Kelly would be a disaster hire for Oregon

Agree. Purdue should hire Fleck to get him ready for a bigger program like LSU in 3 years.

The dude doesn't need to get ready. He is ready. Winning big at a dumpster fire program is hard to do. It means he can get the most out of the players he recruits.

At a school like LSU where the talent is limitless he would flat out embarrass 90% of the teams on the schedule.

But the retarded Alleva would say he doesn't have skin for LSU without a P5 hc experience.

My co-worker said he'd be surprised if Kelly ended up at Oregon, but thought the report about him looking to get away from ND had legs to it.

I jokingly suggested ND might be trying to lure Brady Hoke to South Bend as DC, which just prompted him to make fun of the Orgeron hire, so I didn't ask for more details.

Fleck, unfortunately, will be in South Bend before too long.

I appreciate the effort Fleck puts in with regards to wearing a tie, but there is just something wrong with a person who wears a tie with an athletic quarter zip pullover.

Fleck would've been a grand slam hire for Alleva. I can not believe he was never even considered for an interview.
