I am a Tulane Fan....I grew up as an LSU fan and still root for them to win when they are not playing LSU, but their success is important to almost everyone in the state regardless of whether they did or din't attend LSU or didn't even go to college. I think LSU should try and get Saban back. He is the only one of the candidate's or coaches in recent history who has proven he has what it takes to wint the hardware at LSU...you people would be retarded for not wanting him back

Do you think I couldn't have gone to LSU if I had wanted, I am proud of my school and hopefully one day we can be relevant in football, but either way you dice it I am just as proud of my state (I've been all over the world professing Louisiana is the greatest place on God's earth) And as being proud of my state I love to see LSU football do well, just not when they play the WAVE)

I was being serious, just made up a number. I'm glad to have support from our instate schools(especially private! ). Naturally, as a die hard LSU, I cant root for Tulane unless they play a game that impacts LSU's SOS, but I have nothing wrong with the people there.

Why not? You're from Louisiana. I know most of are students are elitist yankee snobs, but you better believe that alot of our players hail from the South I bet you'd root for Tulane against Alabama. shite, I think we would have a shot at them this year. Too bad we didn't play them...instead we got croomed

pssst..nobody gives a shite

here's a clue....don't go to a LSU board, admit you're a tulane fan, then call LSU fans retards....that is well......retarded

even if you preceded your comment with how you like LSU if they aren't playing, it still shouldn't be done

that doesn't mean you get to say whatever you want to say to me ...

sure, sure as heck does ...

no no, it doesn't mean that ...

its in the Geneva Convention, look it up ...

I'm not hear to talk about my school, just make a point to the anti-Saban people that don't want him that their logic defies the bottom line...which is winning. You have been spoiled by a great 7 years of LSU football...maybe you forget some of the earlier days, for instance Spurrier drubbing LSU 58-3 in death valley at night. Oh and by the way...we will have our moment in the sun...believe that.

you can bash Tulane all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm right.

right about what? that any lsu fans who want saban back are retarded?

man i would have thought all that money mommy and daddy are wasting away you would be smarter than that

there is no "right" choice, or "wrong" choice

there are obviously some better choices than others but even larry coker won a nat'l title at miami

sometimes nothing more than time changes the "right" coach to the "wrong" coach...in '95, and '96 any LSU fan in the world would have told you they had the "right" coach....in '99, not so much

for you to come here and think you are "right" to think that not only LSU would be better off without Saban but any LSU fan who wants him is retarded shows your own arrogance and complete lack of knowledge on the subject

are there possibilities that saban wouldn't work out here, yeah sure

do i want LSu to offer him the contract, no

are there about numerous coaches that I think can do a more than adequate job here, you bet ya

do i think my preference is the "right" one and anyone else is the "wrong" choice, no

but i guess they don't teach that down on st. charles

bingo!

winning the big one is the bottom line at a major football program...Saban is the ONLY one in recent history who has proven he can do it...at LSU

"but i guess they don't teach that down on st. charles "

What they do teach us is that stupidity is a condition that can be cured...but I guess you debunk that theory
