Look, maybe working under Coach Process and Little Debbie for a couple of years has straightened him out. Maybe he deserves another chance as an HC.

But that initial chance should not be at a major school, and surely not LSU.

Let him go coach Directional U for a few years, and if he keeps his stuff clean, when the next coach fails at LSU in 4 years, we can hire him then.

LK resume is far superior than Herman.

As a coordinator???? He is great. But as an HC????? LSU is too big for him.

Kiffin has coached his way to another HC gig and I actually think he'd do a good job here
It's a tenuous spot. Ideally, you want him to go a mid tier school for a little while and see if he does indeed have what it takes now. But you have to make a hire and you don't want another big school to snatch him and succeed and you end up being the one who whiffed.

Yup... IMO he hasn't earned his stripes to be a HC at a school like LSU.

Why would someone want a douche bag like that to be their coach? I think people got spoiled with Miles since he is actually a really great guy. That is not a given.

Pretty much my thought. If LSU hires Kiffin it's because quite a few coaches turned us down.

I wouldn't panic though. I know some SC boosters and Kiffin's reputation is that he's smart as frick but arrogant and abrasive. Saban was viewed the same way coming out of Michigan State kinda.

He will definitely prove himself at Houston when we take Herman.

Yep. I'd be ok with Kiffen, but he needs a babysitter.

LK resume shows he destroyed every program he ever ran. Herman's record is superior

Kiffin knows he won't succeed Saban. He's looking for a gig. There's a bunch of guys ahead of him at this point.
How do you know this? Are you just spewing bs that you've read or do you know that there's a bunch of guys ahead of him?
