If I was Miles

I would go if the Money were right.

I do not think Alleva can find better than Miles but I also think so much of the Fan Base is dissatisfied with his style of coaching regardless of the wins

s Hackett going to be the full-time AD

why is hackett even making this decision
I just read up on Hackett. Getting to know Hackett

He is interim AD only. Retired CEO of an office furniture company. Played at Michigan with Miles.

IMO, what Hackett brings to the table, as a retired CEO, Hackett is more than likely a major donor and maintains close ties with other big donors.

He is also a "Bo Man". I think Miles is definitely on his short list after Harbough.

Miles could hold a press conference giving his answer and nobody in Baton Rouge or Ann Arbor would know where he's coaching next year.

If Miles goes, he needs to make the decision to leave like, now.

Too much later and it really screws LSU.

I think Miles wants to do what's best for both sides as quickly as he can. If he leaves, he won't drag it out. If he stays, he'll do it in a way to not make Michigan look like they were turned down or have egg on their face. He's a good man above all else

They are under the impression it was invented in Ohio.

Hackett, the interim AD, "wants Les Miles" but that "some in the Michigan administration are worried that they'll do a dance with Miles and he'll ultimately back out at the last minute, kind of making the Wolverines look bad."

If that is truly the attitude many of the big money types at Michigan have it's no wonder they have fallen to their current point.

"Ahh gee, the head cheerleader has always liked me but I listened to my dumb friends and stayed away. Now that I'm single I think I could maybe get her from her but I'm worried if I finally ask her out she'll stand me up out of spite! Best to not even try I guess."

He's hurting everyone including recruits, LSU, Michigan, so on, not that I think there is a chance he leaves.
