He's from California, went to Stanford, played football there, graduated there and now coaches there. Very stupid to think he leaves for anywhere else besides going pro

OR some coaches love where they live. Let's face it, BR isn't Palo Alto or other nicer, safer communities.

He was never coming here and might not have been the best fit anyway but that still kind of stings.

Most coaches who currently have jobs are going to react this way...get used to it

Start a thread when a coach that is currently preparing a team says during a pressed " Hell yea I wanna go to LSU! Do you know someone? Tell them to call me"

He's at Stanford and doing great. I can't think of a better school to coach. Their expectations are not unreasonable, he's having great success, and he can offer any recruit a Top 5 degree in the USA. Dream job man.

Plus, he is a Stanford Alumnus

Idiot.

He laughs at the idea, because he's already at his school and they are a good program.

Of course he would laugh at the question and it has NOTHING to do with LSU. Dumbass

So if you were on the short list of a competing company making a 100% salary jump from what you currently make, and somebody asked if you were interested in front of your boss, you would say "yeah"?

Would be an awful fit. He's at the perfect gig for him, and LSU does not need an offense that minimizes perimeter skill players. It needs an offense that caters to the style of talent Louisiana produces. Multiple TE formations, pro-style qb's with as many OL as possible ain't it.

He doesn't want and neither do we.

Shaw...WC guy.

Dad coached at Stanford.

Shaw played at Stanford.

Stanford is a top 5 Uni in the world.

Lives in moderate temp NorCal.

He's said he's never leaving Stanford unless he is forced out.

Would be Les...2.0 anyways.

not a single currently employed coach will answer a question in the next 2 months even hinting at interest in the LSU job.

this... EVERY coach that gets asked about it in a presser will deny any communication. especially if their respective teams still have things to play for like Herman and Shaw's teams do...
