Quote..."The thing I like the most about Coach O is he fits the identity of LSU fans perfectly"..we should just hire Troy Landry as our O.C. and enjoy the show..screw it..everything Emmert did to pull us out of that mess is gone

I really like Joey Galloway but Danny Kanell is just intolerable.

Not sure about anybody else but I enjoyed the respect that Saban brought to this program

I think "backhanded compliment" is what you were going for there.

No.

LSU spent a ton of money. They had a good (not great) coach in Miles. They spent big to get rid of him, mid-season.

Hiring O and 2 excellent coordinators will cost LSU money. The program will continue to spend to win, and at some point during the next decade, I'm sure LSU will spend money to replace O with someone who can step in and win from day one.

After Danny coming down here for the Bama and seeing all of the support and people telling him "he's one of us" or "he doesn't have an accent" I can see why he said that.

I'm pretty sure that Emmert had nothing to do with hiring Miles..I could be wrong though

He means so that the press can make fun of his cajun accent.....they won't miss a beat from not having Miles goofy arse to make fun of.

So if I'm reading you right..LSU is not afraid to spend the money..there's just currently no one out there that's worth the risk?

That's hilarious. Exactly how does that translate into wins? Does Saban's personality line up with that of Bama fans? Does urban's personslity line up with OSU fans, Harbaugh's with Michigan fans? Seriously what in the frick does someone's personality and likeableness mean anything when it comes to establishing a winning program? The national media loves it when LSU is a clown show. They love the quips and the idiosyncrasies. It's good for their ratings but is not have anything to do with our success.
