yeah he said that yesterday morning

makes sense. everyone knows if strong doesnt win 8/9 games next year he and his staff are gone, why make a lateral move only to get canned in a year.

Maybe also why Herman signing up to stay at UH. Waiting for the Texas job to open up. Same for a guy like Larry Fedora. If Texas went after him next year they could pay whatever the buyout is at the drop of a hat. Texas may not be the only big job in Texas to come open if TAM loses 4 games again in the conference. I think since Sumlin has been there their best record in the SEC has been 5-3 and that was with Manziel. I think.

Yeah I agree

I think most Aggies and Horn fans agree if their respected coaches don't win more than 8 they are gone

Most are predicting Herman to UT and Chad Morris to A&M(assuming he does well at smu next year. His first year was a mess). He's an Aggie alum as Herman is UT

The only significance to LSU about the Cumbie thing is that he is the one recruiting Stephen Sullivan to TCU and he is an LSU target. 4 star 6'5" 220 WR. We need a guy with that kind of size.

I wouldn't consider that a lateral move

Going from co-OC to actually calling the plays @ UT and making double the $

You would be surprised what the football coaches at TCU really make (since they are a private school - any numbers you read are pure speculation). Gary P is one of the Top 7 highest paid coaches in the country and has stocks and mineral/oil rights for land given to him by alumni that probably tops $5mil to boot.
