pssh. Everyone, deep down.. .knows it's true. No other school in the history of college football is equal to the greatness of Bama football over the course of it's existence. It's just silly to think he would go to a program that is of such lesser quality and much higher meddling boosters

I really hope you don't kill yourself when he leaves.

Go back to your trailer gumptard and get another bear bryant tattoo on your chest and sit in your lazy boy recliner and loathe your existence.

They will NEVER admit it. Bet everyone who's not biased will tell you that Bama is the pinnacle of CFB.

They're gonna quote this and laugh. It's gonna bother them. But it will still be the truth.

At some point, the annual per dollar offer has to make sense to both schools. $10 million is more than NFL coach makes, no?

Why are they renegotiating his contract? Is this what u get when u dont win your side of the conference?

Someone, somewhere in Gumpville must be scared of something.

If he stays, does he sign a new deal next year as well and the next and the next.........

Being scared someone is leaving u, must really suck.

But, what they cannot offer is working at what is the epitome of college football. Working at a job that is greater than an NFL position, and at a job that is the most successful in the history of the sport, and one that has had the best coaches to ever coach the game and have his name among them.

You guys are starting to lose it.

Just thought the board needed some honesty to get it grounded. NonBama fans have been getting a bit delusional today.

Saban not going to UT and not signing extension with Bama. He shall retire and form half of the Hillary/Saban for President 2016 ticket.

Measly 4 NC's.

Multiply that by almost 4 and he'll be close to Bama.

Your right 4 NC's & 489 wins - what is that 60% of Bama's total wins - at the same job for like 50 years couldn't compete at all.

ETA: Are we counting titles "claimed" when no title was actually awarded?

Given that these are all rumors...I'm not seeing anything from the Gumps close to this from UT:

Dean Blevins ?@DeanBlevins 36s
Texas source tells me:
"Saban sitting on 10-yr deal worth $100M & 1% of #LonghornNetwork."
Smart way 2 get cooperation w non-stop TV cams

Plus this:

$10m signing bonus + $19m if he stays for 10 years.
