Just checked my phone and that was the text I got. I sent back "please explain." Still waiting for reply.

He basically said that O is saying all the right things to the ppl that matter. The locker room is much more united than they were under Miles. Idk if i had posted that on here but the locker room was split. Morale was low. Been a 180 in a very short time. Many players, Admins, Donors are very happy with him.

He can push all the buttons he wants, but he needs to win 6 or 7 games to have a chance.

frick. I've feared all along we'd take the cowards route and hire O because he talks like us. Would be a shite hire.

Coach O really does seem to have a good vision for the direction of this program. He's 3rd on my list. Jimbo and Herman are tied at 1.

Great season should only mean that he's not eliminated from consideration.

Make all top HC candidates and top assistants say no first, then consider Coach O.

Yeah. It would. LSU could take its pick of quality coaches. To settle on Coach O...woof.

"Pushing all the right buttons" could just mean that he's doing the right things, and NOT taking himself out of consideration.

You know O has to want this so badly, so of course he's going to go out of his way to impress who he needs to impress. What happens on the field is going to be the biggest factor, so let's wait and see before crying about Johnny Jones hires.

So much this. If Coach O can win over the right people (and he's got the right personality/accent to do so), Joe Alleva will be irrelevant in the hiring process. Just like he was with Johnny Jones.

Lol. LSU isn't hiring an assistant coach.

Great, then Coach O won't be HC.
