Not many will agree but if we strike out on Herman and Jimbo, why not give him a call? He is tested in FCS and done good. Could get a bargain.

He should definitely be on the short list

Yeah that's a very rational thought. Hire a guy who's never coached at this level or recruited in the southeast. What could possibly go wrong?

Hes #3 for me on my list behind Herman and Jimbo.

Also like PJ Fleck from Western Michigan.

Yes Fleck is another good young Coach. His team's have steadily been improving.

Look whats happening to Craig Bohl, the guy who built that program. He is 8-20 at Wyoming. Klieman is not worth the risk right now. Lets see how he does at a mid major before we put him on the short list.

I agree with that. It's Whyoming though. Not really a recruiting hotbed like LSU has but I see your point. Fleck may benefit more since he has a proven record thus far. If he keeps winning, he could be the next Herman.

I would put him on the list of guys we have top look at if we miss on Herman. Would probably take Jimbo over him, but not at the cost of breaking the bank which I expect Jimbo to expect us to do for him.,

put him on the reality list with Mullen, Peterson, Fedora, and Jimbo if we miss on Herman. He's like Fedora, the closer you look at him the more you like him as LSU's next coach.
