Alleva changed the contract after Chavis signed. LSU won't win.

Still working its way through the court.

LSU was granted leave to amend its petition against Chavis, and the judge denied a Motion for Summary Judgment filed by Chavis' lawyer (Jill Craft).

The claimed damages was $400K. Legal fees on both sides are now well over $500K. That answer your question?

I've never understood WHY he claims this. If he were to win on that argument and it nullifies the contract, then how could we owe him all of the vacation pay or whatever else he says we owe? If the contract is void, the contract is void.

LSU should pay him the money as a thank you gift for leaving.

The changed language did not alter the contract in anyway. It was just different wording for the same thing. A court should side with LSU.
