Jim Tressel went from Youngstown State (lower prestige than any MAC school) to Ohio State and won a National Title there in year 2. Lets not act like talent coaches can't skip steps in the ideal career ladder.
The question isn't where a coach is now, the question is, is he talented enough to succeed now.
