6-2 with a signature win over Stanford and a terrible loss.

Ole miss was 44-29 the 6 years before orgeron

They were 39-37 the 6 years after Orgeron

They were 10-25 with orgeron

Side note: He has the worst win pct in their history

always seemed to have an eye for good assistant coaches though, i'll give him that. He gave Frank Wilson his first shot.

yeah he tried the whole "hire high school coaches to get recruits" angle

you get to blow that wad once

He has said it himself many times. He didn't trust his coordinators. He was trying to control everything with an iron fist and didn't let people do what they do best

Orgeron is a terrible HC. He had 4 SEC wins in 4 years. He took, up to that point, a moderately successful program and ruined it. Is that simple enough?

Recent propaganda? He was saying this himself years ago.

If you're really interested to get a decent overview of his time at Ole Miss read Meat Market.

Good book.

Idk, but his record @ Ole Miss was 10-25 in 3 seasons. I was curious, so I looked at his schedule. Of his 10 wins:

3x Memphis
2x Northwestern St
1x Citadel

Ole Miss has always been horrible. The success they have recently had was due to players being bought.

Players loved him because he let them do whatever the hell they wanted to. He didn't really make them go to class, he practiced them in full pads 5 days a week (yes even days before the damn game), he's a horrible Xs and Os coach and has no long term plan.

He worked his arse off, don't get me wrong. But he tried to micromanage everything and didn't fully trust people on his staff.
