On Finebaum show.
If we don't get Herman, the OC of Patriots would be a good one.
He's learned a lot with coach Bill Belichek, and has been a head coach in the league. Still young. Great offensive mind.

I make a lot of a coaches recruiting experience and ability. Even though LSU has a lot of assistant coaches who can more than pull their weight in recruiting, the head coach has got to be able to finish the job and close the door on a recruitment.
Josh McDaniels only college experience was in 1999 as a GA at Michigan State. He's been in the NFL since 2001.

exactly. it wouldn't make any sense at all really. he's been an NFL coach for 15 years.
