I find it hard to believe that the big $ boosters fronting millions for this hire are completely out of the loop. I mean you have to be a total dhengis to donate millions without requesting some sort of information or control in return. Thus, there must be some boosters with an idea of what's going on. Just has to be.

So I'm interested to know. Do we really think these people are blindly donating millions of dollars with no insight in to who their money is purchasing?

Or Scott only asked for money from people who would keep their mouth shut. People don’t get that rich running their mouth

Why would any boosters want to share that info.

How many of that level boosters do you think exist? Also, as someone said earlier, they didn’t get that rich by running their mouths when asked not to.

Another thing, even if one did spill some beans, it isn’t to some chode who would run right to TD with the correct info

Or yet they can trust a man to do his job

Do you really want some frick who happens to have a lot of money and loves LSU to have influence over a coaching hire?

The boosters who are fronting the bill knew who the hire was at the same time as Scott.

They’re just not the type of people who sit on Tigerdroppings on a Sunday.

Do you bump your own threads by responding to yourself often?

All I care is that boosters are not calling the shots. Louisiana politics at its best is what gave us a long list of incompetent coaches including Archer, Hallman & Dinardo. Hire people to do the job & let them make hiring decisions. If the AD makes too many bad hires, the AD needs to go

Most boosters at that level are extremely successful (obviously) and highly intelligent…….hence being tight-lipped.

Sadly, I think this was what happened. I think we legit expected Riley to take the job, and he fricked us.

Who knows, he might have been weighing both USC and LSU offers, and didn't like how the LSU side was leaking everywhere and ruining the final game of his team's season.

They could be. But they don’t post on football message boards. The highrollers know how to stay quiet. That’s why Woodward’s telling them things. The ones that are posting here are anonymous fast food window workers posing as guys that rub elbows with big boosters.

I’m pretty sure they agree to non disclosures and have information provided to them in confidence.

Well they had to have fronted the money for O's contract extension. Can't believe all of them were bid O supporters even after 2019 season.
